US DVD?

I saw an add for a UK release, but anyone heard of a US DVD release yet? I don't even know if this show was ever played stateside, but I'd like to check it out.

I just bought the 2-disc set from AmazonUK and it is region-free! The PAL dvds play fine on my computer. Worth every penny!

What sort of software does your computer have? I usually use Cyberlink Power DVD. Do you know if it makes a difference? I'm really not all that computer literate.

"Star Maidens" played stateside for about 1 season, when TV stations were scrambling to ride the wave of "Star Wars" mania. It didn't last because everything on TV paled by comparison to what audiences were seeing for the first time in movie theaters. I remember loathing it then, but I love it now for what it is.

I did buy the amazon.uk set but it is not Region Free and won't play on my regular dvd player, only through my computer.

It's still worth every penny if you want something fun, and if you enjoy other campy, glitzy space operas from the era of disco and polyester.
