Several actors were (not so) in the closet

I think it's interesting that several of the stars in this miniseries were gay in real life. First, we have Robert Reed (pawing over Susan Blakely but possibly more attracted to Peter Strauss). Then, there's George Maharis as a rugged boxer with a sexy wife (Lynda Day George). And in a supporting role is Dick Sargent. Plus Van Johnson. Maybe there are a few I've missed or simply don't know about.

This doesn't affect my viewing but I do find the casting interesting.
