I JUST FOUND A COPY OF THE WHOLE SERIES SOMEONE LEFT IN AN EMPTY APARTMENT ALONG WITH MANY OTHER OLD SHOWS. I FORGOT WHAT A GREAT SHOW IT WAS AND ALL THE FANFARE THAT SURROUNDED THE CONCLUSION.IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN THERE WAS SOME QUESTION AT THE TIME AS TO WHETHER THE SERIES WOULD CONTINUE OR WAS GOING TO END. I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT AGAIN AT THE CONCLUSION.THIS SERIES WAS DEFINITELY IN MY TOP 10 SHOWS OF ALL TIME.

Yes, Esteps wife finds out what a murdering, lying a-hole her husband has been and testifies against him.
At the end, as Rudy lays wounded in the street, he hears a nearby radio stating that the senate had found Rudy not guilty of purgery and had arrested Estep on charges ranging from murder to blackmail and extortion etc.
