The 70's

It looks like such a wonderful time to be a young adult.
I've been watching this and The Rockford Files lately along with a few other shows from the 70's and I catch myself paying more attention to the surrounding scenery than the actual story at times.

I was a young adult in the '70s. I guess it was okay. You see the surrounding scenery as unusual, quaint, maybe exotic. If you had been there at that time, it all would have been just the ordinary everyday background.

I was a maximum of 17 in the 70s (Born Jan 15, 1963). It was a good time. 80's too.

Depends on the show and the viewer's background. My parents came of age during the 1950's and I thought it was far more wholesome than the 1970's when I was growing up. But in some ways the 1970's was fairly good in that we did not have social media stalking us every minute of the day. Also, depending on a person's intellect there were a lot of career possibilities to be had where an 18 year old today has to wonder when automation or AI will drive a person out of a given field.
