Deserved a better final episode than "The Cutting Edge"

This show really went out with a whimper with that awful Cutting Edge episode. Quincy was barely in it and the lead actor playing the doctor was terrible. Granted, the show had seen better days but they at least could have given it a decent send off instead of this lousy backdoor pilot.

I agree. They just should have gone out with the two-part "Quincy's Wedding." Sure, it's no masterpiece, but it at least is a memorable event in some regard, even if it still irks me that Emily made Quincy sell his beloved boat.
