Favourite Quincy episode?

I was well chuffed to find that Quincy was being repeated again on UK TV, after changing channels, it's now on ITV1. My grandad got me watchig this show on weekday afternoons. My fave episode was the one where he investigates the mysterious plane crash.

Blimey theres dozens and dozens of episodes! I'll let you know when I've seen em all!

Todays was a bit naff though with the athelete kicking the bucket. But I guess it's fitting that they have that episode since the Olympics...

My favourite episode is A Test For Living because i have the same problem as what that little boy had (Autistic)

I just saw the episode where Sam's friend, Steve, became a murderer due to hallucinigens given to him in the army. It's a genuinely good episode and it really gave Robert Ito a chance to show off his acting skill.

We've met before, haven't we?

Mine would have to be the one where Quincy bumps into his old love--an emotionally unstable woman played by Ina Balin-- and what happens when she decides she has to have him in her life again. The whole episode played like a mini-movie. It had suspense and mystery and some really great character actors in the supporting cast. I also remember the two-part episode on the cruise ship as being one of my favorites also.

Well, I'll pick an over the top ep. The pep pill episode "Bitter Pill". Can't beat ol Quince knockin over all the guy's pill displays! Love it.

Tyne Daly was in a couple of good ones. The one about SIDS and the one where she's dying. The latter being a truly heavy episode.

My favorite is "Guns Don't Die", from season seven. The story is focused on a handgun and the deaths it causes. Sure, Klugman preaches through the whole show, but it's the episode that haunted me as a kid and I'll never forget it.

Three words: NEXT STOP NOWHERE.

If I ever do a movie script, this song WILL be covered.

Snake Eyes

The one where all the coffins in a cemetery wash down a hill after a rain storm.

A Night to raise the dead.(the coffins episode) It had Kevin Hagen in it, he played Doc Baker on Little House on the Prairie.

I liked the "two parter," that had Quincy and Janet (Diana Muldaur) on a cruise ship. A mysterious malady struck passengers, at random, causing halucinations and/or death. Quincy and Janet, an epidemiologist, struggled to find the source.

Wow how does anybody pick a handful of favorites. I've watched about 80 episodes so far and I've yet to see one I didn't like

These are just off the top of my head but memorable – and hopefully accurate

• Organized crime head is dying and wants Quincy to find out who did it. I'll always remember what he said about everyone having a price. "It might not be money, but it's something. Like the life of your friend (Sam)." Or something to that effect.

• Someone uses DMSO http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimethyl_sulfoxide and snake venom applied to a steering wheel to kill someone and Sam gets it too. Quincy holds a fer-de-lance (or equally deadly snake) in the killers' face (a herpetologist) to force him to tell what venoms he used.

• Guy with an umbrella shoots little ball with poison into Quincy. “Cut me. Cut me Sam.” Then mild mannered Astin, trying to find out what was used, flips the guy and puts him in a head lock, Monahan is amazed and Astin says "I was in the Rangers."

ALL episodes with the Federal agents and Quincy keeps calling them by each other's name which really annoys them. "HE's Brice, I'M Niven" lol! love it!

• Using flashbacks of things Quincy has figured out, Sam, Astin and Monahan save Quincy.

i used to have all episodes on tape but my ex taped over most of them
