I understand this is available on DVD now. I liked the 1965-1967 seasons best of the original series, and didn't quite get hooked on the other seasons, is the possibility probably that i won't get hooked on this either then, or would you recommend it?

I got the dvd a while ago. The quality is variable: this was made during economically tough times so getting the money to pay writers was tough. Some episodes are good but most have not aged well. The last three were made in Canada due to financing problems.

The chemistry between the three leads is very good.

I would definitely recommend this, it's a great series and there's good chemistry between Patrick, Gareth and Joanna.
Just 1 thing: don't compare it to The Avengers. I look at it as a separate series, in it's own right, and I think it's best enjoyed that way.

well thank you both for the info, i think i'm gonna stick with the seasons i liked best after all, and hope this might air someday.
any more inputs about this series would have me greatful though,
