more 'ordinary' than the classic series?

luckily i got a peek of this on a german channel before buying the dvd box, and it seemed very much like a regular crime series than the "strange mood" of the classic series. the classic is a bit similar to "twilight zone", isn't it? i tell you, i never thought i'd discover a "new" series i liked, but just recently i came across this twilight zone thing, i saw the entire 1980's version, then was thrilled the 1950's version started airing too, but the 50's version only aired for a few episodes... i don't know if the kids today are scared of black and white or something. so now i either have to wait untill the holidays or spend a $hitload of money on dvd boxes.
cheerio.

in the bathtub playing with ducks and steamboats,
i forget about them since you came along,
such a hot chick,
crawl down and steam me,
one toy older than the other,
going through the bubbles,
seem like just yesterday,
but you're an excellent replace,
babe, crawl down the bathtub,
steam with that body you got,
let me remove the plastic stuff floating above,
so you can join with heat love and warmth,
stay untill our fingers get wrinkled,
and turn on the sprinkler,
look down in the water, is it a marine sub,
or am i just happy, being with you in this bath tub.

I think it was Brian Clemens who decided to switch it from being a "comedy with dramatic overtones" to a "drama with comedic overtones." It was intended to compete with its contemporary programmes (such as Starsky and Hutch, Charlie's Angels, and Kojak, for example).
