Has anyone noticed Lewis Collins and Martin Shaw aka Bodie and Doyle from 'the professionals' working together in the NA episode 'obsession'
It seems very strange them being the "bad guys"!
A little more emotion from Purdey for a change as well in this one.
Brian Clements who made TNA went on to cast them in the Professionals when he saw how well they acted together,.Also in one episode of the New Avengers there is a character who's name is "George Cowley" ( a name later used in the professionals). Clive Revill who was in the New Avengers episode " Dead Men Are Dangerous" was to be cast as Cowley in The Professionals, but he turned the role down , Which eventually went to Gordon Jackson

shareI just realized after all these years that Brian Clemens and Martin Shaw worked together at least 3 times. The first was in THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD. Shaw plays "Rachid", Sinbad's FIRST MATE and right-hand man! He's there is practically the whole film, and somehow, I never recognized him until last week as Purdey's ex-fiance.
"May Allah grant that we find food and water when we go ashore."
"And may he grant that we find NOTHING else!"
I haven't seen this episode since I first saw it lots of years ago but I did read up on it in The Avengers Forever site.
I sure know about obsession as I am very obsessed with Karen Gillan.
