Miss Piggy less agressive with Kermit in Season 5

Has anyone else noticed this?

Miss Piggy had bullied and attacked Kermit many times throughout the first four TMS seasons. But the only time she ever attacked him in season 5,was in the episode that guest starred Linda Ronstadt, where she locked him in a trunk.

I used to assume the reason was that in the episode guest starring Loretta Swit,he verbally let her have it,when she published a story about him in "Tongue Magazine",and he tried to fire her.

But according to the actual episode production order,Loretta Swit was the season's second episode.Linda Ronstadt was the second-last episode. When aired on TV in reruns,Loretta Swit always came two episodes after Linda Ronstadt.(Glenda Jackson was in between.)

Miss Piggy CONTENT with an unrequited love? I can't believe that! Miss Piggy would never settle for anything less than exactly what she wants.

I know this thread was made almost three years ago, but I just wanna say she also attacked him in the Senor Wences episode.(which was in the 5th season)

Sick of threads "Megan Fox should play this!"

Most likely, they were worrying about the joke getting old and were trying to evolve things somewhat...

That makes sense.😉

Sad they didn't drop it due to it being domestic violence.
