An animated (anime) series that Americans have yet to discover

Apart from the mainstream anime that's released in US, series like this are rare in that part of the world.

Maybe it's the company's fault for believing it would flop, or just care to make more profit of the cash cow (FUNi's cash cow is Dragon Ball - they're doing an excellent job now!).

I've seen this series and wow, it's beautiful, unfortunately the retail R3 edition is OoP (Out of Print), and only remains the bootlegs which I obviously won't buy because they're likely to be crap quality.

Other series:
- Crayon Shin-Chan (the original, not the americanized one)
- Dogtanian and the three Muskehounds
- Doraemon
- Heidi: Girl of the Alps
- The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
- The Legend of Zorro (Kaiketsu Zorro)
- The Three Musketeers (Anime Sanjuushi)
- The Wonderful Adventures of Nils Holgersson
- Pinocchio: The Series (and the other anime series of Pinochio too)

Still, it's possible, if you learn/know Spanish/Portuguese/Italian/German or other languages it's very likely to find all these series (Well, Pinocchio anime is hard to find).

Heidi rocks. But it's still in the process of being engsubbed (halfway through)
Marco started pretty slow but picks up at ep 22 (a lot of TV series run out of steam by this point)

It's currently in Youtube. There is only a Spanish version which is superb, mainly because is the original Castilian version. I wish they upload it in English so my daughter can enjoy this show as well. Any idea where to find it in English.

Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?
