Very strange that this hasn't been mentioned before. Has anyone else noticed Marge *R*edmond (the Cool Whip Queen of those classic 1970s commercials) appearing as policewoman in this episode & is listed on here sans the R in her surname for this particular performance credit.

There is absolutely nothing stated anywhere that Marge Redmond appeared in Family, only the credit given of a Marge Edmond. The only credit to the latter surname.
(I find it really odd.) Anyone could clearly see it is in fact the one & same actress. Anyone else make the same distinction regarding the descrepancy?

I never noticed that one. And you are correct. If you go to Marge Edmond in IMDB, it shows she was in Family. Yet if you go to Marge Redmond, there is a full list of her appearances minus the Family episode. Strange. You have to wonder why that is, because by the time she'd appeared on Family, she was well established as Marge Redmond.

Oops...someone should submit a credits correction to IMDB.

Must have been corrected because I just looked up Margie Redmond using the link from my old post and it shows the episode from Family in her credits.
