Surveys

How did this show get 100 people (either Men, Women, Married Men, Married Women, Married Couples, or all of the above) to take the surveys? Did the show go out onto the streets and just ask people to take a survey explaining that the survey is for this game show? If anyone knows and can explain it, I would really appreciate it.
