Steve Harvey needs to stop doing his standup every 5 seconds

And just be a gameshow host that occasionally makes a few jokes. That's why John O'Hurely was so great, he was funny and sharp. The new Family Feud is so tedious to watch now.

I have the same complaint. Steve's an alright host, but unlike the previous hosts who would make a quip every so often, he turns the show into a standup.

John O'Hurley wasn't funny to me. I love that Steve turns the show into stand-up. Besides, it's not like he goes off talking about the differences between black people and white people. All jokes are related to the questions and responses given by the contestants.

Being inconsistent is better than being consistently bad.

THANK YOU!! I completely agree with you about Harvey always doing his standup schtick. I tune in to see a game show, not an unfunny comedy hour.

Steve Harvey was hilarious on his sitcom that ran 5 season, but I don't care for him at all on "Family Feud." My brother thinks he is the best host ever, and it is about time they have a black host. I personally don't care what color you are I care, but I will say that no one will be as great at "Feud" than Dawson, Combs, and O'Hurley. I wish John O'Hurley was still the host.

I liked John on Dancing with the Stars but he's a boring Family Feud host.

I agree. I don't mind if he jokes every once in a while but he wastes a GREAT amount of time by picking on the contestants. Jokes shouldn't go for more than 5 seconds. He'll go on for 10-30 seconds.

Think for yourself, question authority.

To me, Steve Harvey has been the key to Family Feud's resurgence since he took over as host from John O'Hurley. His reactions to the contestant's answers are so funny. To a lot of people who don't like Harvey as host, watch a few episodes. You'll see and hear why Family Feud is still one of the best game shows in TV history and how Harvey doesn't overpower the contestants.
