Trevor Adams-Tony Webster

Does anyone know what happened to Trevor Adams who played Tony Webster? The IMDb website lists his death in 2000 but that is about all. It seems there is little info about him after the series.

I read that he gave up acting after finding little success after Reggie Perrin and went back to college and became a successful solicitor.

Try googling on his name.

That is a matter of opinion and I don't give a **** about yours.

hi there, my name is cressie and trevor adams is my dad, but as you know he passed away in december 2000. My dad gave up acting, and moved into law. He was very successful in London, and then we moved to Norwich where he continued his work in law. He was approached to rejoin the team for the special episodes but was not able to have the time off work, although i know how much he wasnted to!! He was also in several other programmes, however only smaller parts. Anything else you would like to know, just ask. Its nice to know people still wonder what he was upto!

WOW! I've been looking for a Reggie Perrin Forum for ages!
Very, very sorry to hear about the death of Trevor Adams, I was about 13 years old when the series first went out, it was in the days before video taping programmes so you had to actually watch and concentrate on programmes that you watched.
Reginald Perrin was one programme that we all watched religiously, I still watch the dvd's and it cheers me up no end.

I think the things attracted us kids to it were the catch phrases, the day after an episode at school would be filled with, "Great" "Super" "I didn't get where I am today" and "11 minutes late" ;-)

It used to drive our teacher up the wall! ;-)

Your father will be fondly remembered for many, many years.

RIP Mr Adams, and thank you for sharing that information Cressie, that's very kind of you.

Alan; Well, I only want some batteries.
Basil: I don't believe it.
Alan; - What?
Basil:- Batteries, huh? You know something? You disgust me. I know what people like you get up to, and I think it's disgusting!
Alan; Wh-what are you talking about? I want batteries for my electric razor. I want to shave!

Different show I know, but his best lines for me.

Thanks Cressie, you must be very proud of your dad. He was a very good looking man who helped create a funny and important character in a groundbreaking TV show that will never be forgotten.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what was the cause of his death? He was so young.
