RTV syndication

just booting up the new digital converter, and now I get the RTV service from a local station.. I saw this for the first time.. I had no idea judd hirsch had done a show like this before "Taxi".. wow.. and Charles Haid and Michael Conrad, too..

The episode I saw involved a fugitive, who was native American (played by Erik Estrada, pre-Chips!), and most of the episode takes place in small town Arizona, where the town’s top cop (played by another 70s TV character actor, I forget his name) really wants to nail the guy, but there may be extenuating circumstances—especially since Estrada’s character is married to a Caucasian (played by Maureen McCormick from the Brady Bunch).

The show was created by Steven Bochco, who later was the head honcho of "Hill Street," along with Michael Kozoll, who wrote some DELVECCHIO eps. I managed to acquire some DELVC episodes through the gray market, and besides Haid & Conrad, "Hill Streeters-to-be" like Barbara Bosson, George Wyner, James Sikking and Kiel Martin turn up.
