How Did Sabrina Know Don Ho?

Just curious. Was he supposed to be a friend of Charlie's? I don't remember if they mentioned what the connection was, but in their scene together in "Angels in Paradise" it appeared that they were old friends and very comfortable talking to each other.

I know this one! yes, he was a friend of Charlie's. The scene where it was mentioned was deleted.

Thanks, sherm. I should have known that was it. Charlie was apparently good friends with anyone who was anyone, no matter where they lived or what their livelihood was. I'm sure he had been an invited guest at the White House too, no doubt hitting on Richard Nixon's daughters while he was there, lol.

If Charlie was known to so many people, then why the heck did he have to keep his identity secret from the Angels? I know it was the show's gimmick. But if you think about it, it really makes no sense. LOL

Exactly. Charlie would let any bimbo in a bikini into his compound to meet him face to face, yet his own employees couldn't know what he looked like. It really did not make sense at all.

Identities were something that this agency really struggled with. As we were discussing here a few days ago, why did the Angels use their real names when they were working under cover? The bad guys often looked them up and discovered that they were undercover detectives because they used their real names, which was just really stupid and unnecessary. They also drove cars that were registered to the Townsend Agency so all the bad guys had to do was look up a license plate number to connect them to Charlie as well.
