I've been reading some of Jaclyn Smith's most recent/current interviews and it seems usually when Jaclyn is asked about whom she still keeps in touch with, she only mentions Cheryl Ladd. What about Kate Jackson? I thought Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson were close friends. Did something happen?

No one is a bigger Kate Jackson fan than me, but it seems that in recent years there have been some strange things going on with her. There was the Craig "Devious" interview with Meredith Vieira around the time of Farrah's death where Kate came across as a little unhinged and later apologized, the tabloid reports of her living in deplorable conditions (which being tabloid reports hopefully were not true), the whole thing of her suing her financial manager because he talked her into paying way too much for her house and supposedly led her to believe that she had way more money than she did, and the 6-7 times that her publisher has announced a delay in the publishing date of her autobiography, "The Smart One". The new date is something like 2020 or 2021. I had pre-ordered the book about four years ago on Amazon because it was supposed to be coming out within a few months then, but they have postponed it so many times that I wonder if anyone believes anymore that it will ever come out.
I'm not attacking Kate, and I hope that she is happy, healthy, and emotionally, physically, and mentally well. But all of the above, combined with the fact that she has pretty much disappeared from the public eye completely makes me wonder if all really is well.
I hope so, I love Kate. She is totally the reason why I can watch CA. Without Sabrina, it's just too silly.
A recent interview with Jaclyn Smith stated that she hadn't kept in contact with Kate Jackson for a while seems to lend to the idea that for whatever reason, Jackson is keeping to herself.
Jackson admitted that she was close to both Jaclyn and Farrah which sadly didn't extend to Cheryl.
The reports about her in recent years have not been good. Her living conditions, her financial troubles not to mention that it's been a decade since she was last on screen suggest that perhaps things are not going all too well for her.
I certainly hope that isn't the case as I would like to see her act again.

Jaclyn and Kate were close during their Angel years and for many years after the show ended. I wonder why they drifted apart? And it seems that Kate has become a recluse in the last several years.
shareI know when the Charlie's Angels dvd box set was released, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd were the only two doing any publicity for it. They appeared on a handful of talk shows together, so I would say that probably reignited their friendship. I think it was on the Talk where even Jaclyn acknowledged that there were some tense moments on the set, and she implied that was due to Kate Jackson, though she and Ladd laughed it off since it was in the past.
I also remember Jaclyn Smith was the host of some Bravo competition show about cutting hair, and Kate Jackson was a guest judge on one episode, and it was a sad appearance. Jackson didn't say anything funny or helpful, if anything she seemed a little confused. She wasn't a b!tch or anything, just not what I was expecting or hoping for. And that was probably 10 years ago, so I can only wonder how she's doing now.
Kate and Farrah were close friends, Jaclyn and Kate were cordial to each other but after Jaclyn bad mouthed Farrah after she quit Charlie's Angels Kate distanced herself from Jaclyn.
