Beverly D'Angelo played Miss Emmy, whom Ed Healey "bought" from a house of prostitution for $300 and took on as his personal "servant." But she falls in love with Harry Zeff and marries him after Healey dies. She's not seen again, but we learn many years later that she died after she and Harry had been happily married for many years, and he still adores her.
