Tommy In Bathtub

On the tv favorites dvd, in the episode "Cabin Fever", we all know that it is Marie that is in the cabin with Mel, Flo, Vera and Alice.
But, in the opening credits, it is TOMMY who is in the bathtub with them in the cabin. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, does anyone know why?

I had never noticed that! I guess they wanted an establishing shot with all the regular characters for the opening credits. Good eye.

hmmm Alice, Flo, Vera and Mel knew how to deal with Tommy all right.

So they probably stuck him into the bathtub to soak him in warm water to help to treat his cabin fever, right?

Yeah I noticed that a LONG time ago. Like the other poster said, it was probably just to get the MAIN cast together.

It confused me b/c I saw the opening before I saw the actual episode, so I was expecting Tommy to come in any moment lol

Tommy in the bathtub around a bunch of adults? Kind of creepy! But in the 70's, no fuss was made if an adult saw a kid naked, regardless of gender.

They were all fully clothed and there was no water in the tub!
