I loved KKDJ, I grew up on AM radio (KHJ, KTNQ) and KKDJ was the first FM station I remember listening to, and when I went to the movies and seen it featured in Aloha Bobby and Rose I was like Yea! That's my station!
After about 40 years I still try and keep up with today's music but its not easy since radio sucks now and there are no more great DJ's like Humble Harv.
I do still love to listen to Uncle Joe Benson when I can.
DJ's use to teach us about the music and the artist but now it's all auto programed.
