One of the all-time great adventure films!

This truly is one of the great adventure films, and for reasons I cannot fathom, not remembered when they're mentioned.

The action scenes are slendiforous, and the plot is terrific. (Yes, I know. They played with the facts, but to quote Hitchcock, "It's a mooovie!") Why this isn't on people's lists, I'll never know.

And Goldsmith's score is the icing on the cake.

Not to mention featuring a brilliant, endlessly quotable script and one of the best supporting performances of all tme - Brian Keith as Theodore Roosevelt.

There may be honor among thieves, but there's NONE in politicians!
