An underrated classic!

I first watched this film as a child but recently watched it again as an adult. Seeing it a second time has really opened my eyes to what a great film it truly is. Candace Bergen and Sean Connery seemed to me to be odd choices in casting, but both were great. I really thought that Brian Keith was fantastic in this. Keith was great as Teddy Roosevelt. A truly underrated film that I am thrilled to see released on DVD!

I agree. I have very minor issues with the film, but largely it's magnificent.

I love my current DVD, I can't wait for it to come out on hi-def.

This is one that I would re-buy if released on Blu-ray with a good transfer.

I got the expanded soundtrack as a Christmas gift this year and it's beautiful and magnificent just to listen to. I need to rewatch this movie again soon, it's been awhile.

One of the hallmarks of my style is subtext... and mise-en-SEEN!
