Does the Al Queda enjoy this film?

They may interpet and revamp it this way:

Raisuli the Magnificent: Osama Bin Laden.(Greatest leader of the Terrorists. His organization is very similar to the Barbary Pirates.)

Sherif of Wazan: ???

The Bashaw of Tangier: Saddamm Hussain (Yes it's very possible the Al Queda was on friendly terms with him. Yet since the US used "military intervention" to overthrow him the parells with the Bashaw are uniqe.)

Teddy Roosevelt: George W. Bush (Iffy since Terrorists hate him and do not consider him honorable)

John Hay Secretary of State: Gondola Rice (generally less eager for War.)

Eden Pedecaris: ???? (Have to think about that. Al Quada has kidnapped a lot of people!)

Capt. Jerome: ???

Gummere:

The Sultan of Moroco: Definatly either Odai or Qusai the sons of Saddamm. (Both used to goof off.)

??? Yes, very possible considering the fact that bin Laden is Wahabbi and Saddam is Sunni. Also likely considering Saddam was a dictator that ruled his people with an iron fist and plundered the resources of Iraq to suit his own needs, where as bin Laden views the dictators of Muslim countries like Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia (among others) as no better than western leaders.

There has been NO proof, links, evidence at all suggesting Saddam and bin Laden or anyone in Al Qaeda worked together or were allies. All the evidence of any link between the two has been debunked, and debunked a long time ago. Terror cells didn't have the opportunity to operate inside Iraq under Saddam. He had his OWN terror cells that would've prevented the kind of secrecy needed to operate a sleeper cell or underground operation.

Al-Qaeda seems to think otherwise, since their attacks on the Madrid train stations were carried out in order to get Spanish troops out of Iraq. (It worked.)

reply

They were carried out in order to get Spanish troops out of Middle East.

hey do you have a mind of your own or does Fox News tell you what to think? This film has on connection to any current event or affair.

reply

don't you know Americans prefer nowadays to be brainwashed by Moveon.org???

get with the times!

reply

Valkyrie - it wasn't the bombs that forced out of office the pro-US Madrid government, it was that government lying to the Spanish people about who planted the bombs

Gondola Rice?

Raisuli in the film states "Raisuli does not kill women and children! This is a silly question!" He is a chivalrous if mischievousness man who doesn't wantonly kill for the sake of it, unlike the now dead Osama bin Laden who, in spite of all of his engineering education, did not know how to look into men's hearts, and only knew how to instill fear, or at least attempt to instill fear.

The middle east has a lot of growing up to do. And any terrorist that thinks Raisuli from the movie would have backed them up is barking up the wrong tree.

I also seem to recall that the real historical Raisuli and actual Pedicaris, a man in real life, became fast friends.
