Hugely Underrated

My god is this underrated I would've expected this to be at least an 8.0 but a 7. com'on... that's not justice. This was a phenomenal blend of romance, action, and politics. Granted the acting on the part of the theodore roosevelt character left something to be desired, and whenever they were in America I felt the movie became cliched at some moments. But the main parts, like Roosevelt's bear, and the immortal last lines of the movie starting with "I, like the lion, must stay in my place, while you, like the wind, will never know yours." And then, "Haven't you ever wanted something you would give up everything for?" amazing writing there.

This movie has boatloads of quotable dialogue. Just copy and paste the quotes page here, it's hard to pick a favorite.

There may be honor among thieves, but there's NONE in politicians!

It kind of ended up being some kind of Lawrence of Arabia wannabee.

It's that man again!!

I agree, Connery was awesome as usual.
