I've seen this movie listed on the guide chanel many times and always figures it was about coke. Even when I started watching it earlier it took me a half-hour to realize it wasn't. (*When they finally used the expression "white line fever" in the dialogue to refer to driving)

Some stretches Ive driven on in the outback can go on for over 300kms as straight as a dye, and after a while you get hypnotised by the unbroken white line in the centre of the road.

It's from staring at the white line on the ROAD for long periods of time. Broken lines are worse than solids and I only drive a regular four wheel vehicle for very short distances.
The same can happen with double yellow lines.
