Could Have Been A Good Film

The film has all the potential ingredients of a solid movie, but about 25 minutes through, things start to go wrong, and the film becomes increasingly more incoherent as it goes on.

The first thing that made me go WTF was when JMV has been driving on the road for hours, and then all of a sudden, he's in a bar with the bad guy, and I'm thinking: how are they in the same place?

In the next scene, the bad guy has his henchmen beat up two other truckers, which makes no sense, since up to this point, the only person who has been on the outs is JMV, and presumably now his black friend, who has joined up with him.

I'm not going to list all the many other examples of WTF editing and continuity violations. The sad thing is that it would not have required that big an effort to fix up the sloppiness and result with a very competent final product.
