What was cut out of the Shriek Show DVD??

There was no gore cut out. The missing scenes are detailed in the alternate versions section. in the longer version the cops pull them over before they arrive at the spa (which later signifies that they're in on it), Mrs Abercrombie's backstory is delved into a bit (though she was probably lying) and there's additional footage of John and Laurie lurking around the abandoned ruins. Also worth noting that the video was full-screen open-matte and the DVD is a cropped-looking widescreen ratio.

I ran the two versions side-by-side, pinpointed the missing scenes (including the sequence that the stand-alone DVD release inexplicably skipped) and put the deleted footage on You Tube:
