Perhaps you need to pay closer attention when you are reading. I was merely stating that I have seen this film in Italian, as well as in English; and the actors who voiced the Italian version sound much more authentic than the people who provided the English voices. i have worked on post dubbing of Super 8 and 16 mm film, for years, and OBVIOUSLY i am aware that mostly ALL Italian productions from this era were shot with no audio at all. The reason for that is mostly because of the International cast usually involved in these productions. Even large budget Italian arthouse films, by directors like Luchino Visconti, (one of my personal favorites; ever heard of him?) were filmed without audio. His 1969 film "La Caduta Degli Dei" featured a very international cast. The dvd can be watched in English, Italian, or German. Because it is a film based on the German industrialist Krupp family, I prefer to watch it in German, as this is the language that they would realistically be speaking. A dvd that gives you a choice like that is one of high quality. I was merely criticizing the Blue Underground dvd for not providing a choice of audio options. I must say that the suggestion that I didn't know this fact about Italian cinema did make me smile though; thank you for that. I just wonder if you know what people say about others who call strangers 'idiots' on the internet. Maybe your life sucks, or maybe you are just having a bad day? I hope it's the latter..
