What's the song that plays in the opening of the film?

I really like that song. I copied it onto a CD and listened to it when I went to sleep last night. Does anyone know what it's called?

Yes, I too love this appauling song. It baffles me everytime on listening to it!

It's actually a re-working of and Ennio Morricone & Alessandro Alessandroni penned track from the Italian cartoon "Il Giro del Mondo Degli Innamorati Di Peynet". In that it goes under the title of "Forse Basta" and there are an exhuasting number of versions of it on that soundtrack, the last being an early Demis Roussos version, which is (in my view) not as good as the one from "L'Ultimo Treno Della Notte", both albums are available to download on i-tunes, and possibly both on Spotify. The annoying thing about the recent i-tunes release of the latter is a glitch on the track, so watch out.

Someone could do (and no doubt has done) an entire thesis on bizarre music in exploitation films, from the banjo stylings of Last House, the "choir" in House On the Edge of the Park, the electronic lurches of Cannibal Holocaust and... this in Night Train Murders.

Though, I must admit, although it's fairly easy to mock in the context of the film, as a standalone track it makes for pleasant listening.

Thanks for the extra info, anyway. I'd been misguidedly hunting for it under the name A Flower's All You Need for quite some time to no avail.
