I recently saw the sequal and was wondering if the first part is the movie i think it is. I remember seeing an older movie with a old robed guy telling stories to british ppl in some old rock throne room. One of the stories is obviously the basis for one of the death scenes in SAW where the warden of an insane asylum is put into a maze of razor blades and dogs Is this the movie or is it something else can anyone help me out?

You are thinking of TALES FROM THE CRYPT from 1972, with Joan Collins. You're thinking of the segment in which the blind patients of an asylum take over and seek revenge on the heartless warden.

Right, that story was remade in the Tales from the Crypt of the 90s
