Ok help i have no idea where i can get a copy of this does anyone actually care? i doubt it but i gotta release this cry pf help into the cybernetifically produced void and hope someone says hey yes i know where you can get a copy! PLEASE help the desperate girl who lvoes the book!!!!!
shareI don't know that the 1975 production is available on video. There is a 1956 British version directed by Ken Annakin which can be purchased on VHS at http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/product.asp?sku=092241 (The also appears to be a PAL version available on DVD and VHS at various vendors in the UK if you are located in a non-NTSC area.)
shareI have it on VHS from an airing on cable in 1979 or so. My copy was done on the heavy $25-each VHS tapes of the time, so has held up well. Email me if you're still trying to find it.
It's a *wonderful* production with Tim Curry and Michael Palin. The adaptation is beautifully done and the humor translates perfectly. It's a delight.
