Was there a "shout out" in MI-Rouge Nation?

In the new Mission Impossible movie, there is scene where someone calls in to the CIA and the set looks almost identical to set in Three Days of the Condor (i.e the bank of phones and "The Major" answering them)

It was very quick and I might have made a mistake (also, maybe that is what the phones at the CIA really looks like so it has nothing to do with TDOTC specifically).

Anyway, did any hard core Condor fans get the same sensation?

Yes I'm with you. "Three Days of the Condor" has become a classic paranoid/suspense movie. Right up there with "Marathon Man", "All the President's Men" and "Parallax View". Younger filmmakers like to have a nod to an older classic movie that came before them. I like that. Makes watching a movie more fun.

The basic set-up of TDOTC was redone in the first MI.
