agree, underrated gem of a movie crafted with precision in all aspects

"He say you Blade Runner." "Tell him I´m eating."

Three Days of the Condor, especially in its writing, is an engaging drama by letting audiences contemplate the repercussions of the characters' actions.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

...it stands the test of time...

Absolutely! If not for the age of the cars and the technology of the time, it would be a very good film right now, today.

I consider it the "Borne Identity" of that day. When all those other spy films were coming out. All the "James Bond" movies and other spy-craft movies, this one had a level of sophistication about it that the others could not touch.

I like that Redford played a frightened yet pragmatic logician who used his wits and knowledge to survive. He gets rattled...often...but always thinks his way out of danger. I like that Dunaway's character was so wise, sincere, yet sarcastic. This woman has issues with intimacy, yet is able to display some attachment to the protagonist even though that attachment repels her. A very complex character, but Dunaway has always been good at playing deep complex characters.

I love nearly any movie that features the clever protagonist figuring his way out of trouble. I love that the hero at the end is The New York Times. This movie is better than The Borne Identity, in my opinion. It's more realistic. Robert Redford is very good in this and it has Max Von Sydow! He's the best. Fay Dunaway does a terrific job in this movie.

This is a great Cold War spy thriller that deserves another look today, especially with the secret plot to invade the Middle East for oil.

And Fun Fact: The filmmakers of Captain America: The Winter Soldier said that it was this movie that influenced the story structure for that film. Pretty cool.

Gets better every time I watch it. Mark of a true classic.
