Further Star Trek connections
Beyond the fact that The Thirsty Dead looks like a Star Trek episode without Capt. Kirk & friends, the scriptwriter of the movie was IN 2 Star Trek series: The Next Generation, and Enterprise!
shareI was delighted to see your post here. The first time I watched this I also thought it had the look and feel of an old Star Trek episode, especially in the fanciful, colorful costumes and papier maché cave walls. Glad somebody else noticed.
And here is yet another Star Trek connection: Judith McConnell played Yeoman Tankris in the "Wolf in the Fold" episode of the original series.
Definitely the best movie directed by the guy who played Chief Sharkey on Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (Terry Becker)! A guilty pleasure, for sure.
