on EWESTERN

Just seeing this for the first time. it has a TON of classic western character actors in it. Interesting movie but I'm not a fan of jim brown at all. Football players should not act, he's not very good. great locations, lee van cleef is great as always. what a strange western, part italian, part super fly, part blazing saddles.

it's too bad clint eastwood quit doing spaghetti westerns. I"d rather see him in this movie than what he ended up doing in movies like any which way but loose and dirty harry 3. those dirty harry movies have not stood up to the test of time, they are so very 70's, they look like a tv show like "cannon" or "manix" and not even a real movie,but the spaghetti westerns are still great to watch today. notice when clint went back to doing westerns, those movies are still great to watch today, unlike say, magnum force or some of the other junk he did in the mid to late 70's.

I like the way the europeans do westerns like this, they seem more real than the westerns of the same era of the 60's and 70's.
