This is one of the most touching and romantic films I've seen about the life of the gypsies. The music is beautiful and whoever has a "gypsy soul" will enjoy the film very much.

You can visit www.yandex.ru or www.rambler.ru, type russian title of movie and "mp3" and get many links to paid mp3`s or completely free mp3`s. Unfortunetly I can`t write link to free mp3`s. IMDB prohibit it.

Sometimes movie is very boring (compare for modern films), sometimes very interesting. But I very like this film. Most of all, couse Svetlana Toma`s role. One of the most beautiful roles, I ever seen. Director Emil Loteanu knew how to show all her dignitys. She married him after that film. But marriage was not too long.

There is a German CD of this soundtrack. The company is called Raumer Records. I ordered a copy from Qualiton Imports. The lyrics are included in the original language along with a German translation.

I don't have a "gypsy soul", but this movie was still rather interesting to watch. It's basically a musical with some authentic gypsy singing and dancing, and very stylized characters. I don't think this movie provides an accurate picture of traditional gypsy life. Rather, it's a picture of ideal, imagined (by civilized Europeans) gypsy life.
