DVD release PLEASE!

Will the movie studio please release this on DVD already!!! There are several petitions out there, a lot of interest in purchasing this on DVD, and people have been asking for this for at least five years now. It just doesn't make sense to me that they won't do it. Anyone know if there are any plans in the immediate future by the studio to release this?
