What I love about Kung Fu movies

Old Japanese and Chinese movies are a hoot.

What I love most about the fight scenes is how 5, 10, 20 or more men will attack the lone hero. Then they will all stand around making threatening gestures but will politely only attack the hero one at a time. They are also very considerate and allow him time between fights to flex and make faces.

I really do love these old movies, but that makes me laugh every time. I like Sonny Chiba because he made the best faces (grimaces, leers, smirks, etc.) of the major kung fu stars.

Yeah but bear in mind that The Streetfighter is a Japanese movie and the martial art used in it is Karate, not Kung Fu. Sonny Chiba doesn't even do Kung Fu, he has black belts in two styles of Karate, Shorinji Kempo, Judo and Ninjutsu (all Japanese arts). He's one of the most highly skilled actors in martial arts films. The only other actor I can think of who knows various martial arts is Mark Dacascos. Most Martial arts actors just know one or two arts.

"Awesome movie quote that a million other people have but that I think is clever and original."
