If you're interested in seeing this again, try contacting Fox Movie Channel via their website to make a request and get your friends to do the same. This was produced by 20th Century Fox after all, and FMC does fairly often run old TV movies from the Fox library. This month, they're airing "The Forgotten City of the Planet of the Apes" and "Time Travelers," both Fox TV movies from the 70s. (Time Travelers is very good.) With enough interest, they may be willing to dig up Stowaway.
