Big Bob's job (not used car salesman)

Big Bob (Bruce Dern) is repeatedly labeled or described as a "used car salesman" at this site. He is more affluent than the typical used car salesman as his abode in the movie reveals. He owns a motorhome dealership, as such he's a salesman for his own business. He might likely sell cars as well as motorhomes, but the point is; he is a successful small businessman. A big fish in the little pond of Santa Rosa, he is well respected in the business community, one of the town boosters, and known all over town for his television spots for his business. Bruce Dern plays it perfectly.
