Home Video ?

Has this film ever made it to VHS or DVD? I saw it once on USA cable in the late 80's that was it.

Alas, "Sixpack Annie" was never released on home video and has yet to come out on DVD. It's an AIP movie, meaning that MGM currently has the rights to it. Hopefully it will eventually get released on DVD, although that's unlikely because MGM was bought by Sony and they unfortunately don't care enough to release AIP films on disc. However, I did tape this one uncut off a rare late night cable broadcast a few years ago. It's a very funny and charming little comedy that deserves more recognition then it has thusfar garnered.

Well, we can only hope. I always thought Lindsay Bloom had a certain something. Wish she had done better in films.

Sixpack Annie is on Comcast On Demand right now for free if you are a subscriber. I recorded it but haven't watched it yet. It is under the Impact movie category.

MGM Home Entertainment has finally given this film an official release as a "burned on demand" DVD-R title.

The "THIS" movie channel has been showing it lately too. I haven't watched it as it will probably be badly edited to take out the nudity and language. I still have the VHS copy I bought a couple of years back so I can watch it uncut anytime.

If you have Comcast on Demand it is on now for free. It is under the Impact category and then look in the Impact girls subcategory.

About two years ago I found a VHS copy of "Six Pack Annie" on E-bay so I bought it. It came in a plain white sleeve with a plain label sticker on the tape. It is a good tape though and pretty decent film quality. It is the same movie I remember seeing back at my hometown drive-in around 1979 or 1980. Lindsay Bloom was a hot fox and her voice to this day reminds me of Dolly Parton.
