The more I study it, the greater the puzzle becomes.
The Golden Voyage of Sinbad
Well, the title character is a racist homophobe who drinks & drives.
Waaay too politically incorrect for today's overly-sensitive audiences.
I don't agree with the "racist" part. And after all as a good ol' Southern Belle she has no interest in a couple of gay boys. I couldn't see it remade either way.
shareIn the uncut version, there's more than a few racist jokes.
You have to remember, this film was intentionally made for the deep south drive-in crowd and I'm not sure if it ever even screened in the north.
