Um... Sholay has well over 1,000 votes, and OVER 70% of those votes are a 10!!! How can it only be at a 7.3? Am I missing something?

Oh, that explains it then. I really want a indian film up on the 250 though, maybe The World of Apu or Pather Panchali.

wat kind of idiot, stupid , retard would kill people if they rate Pather Panchali 1/10?? I would :-) and there is one in my own house. If those people who rated Pather Panchali 1/10 are all like him then I can tell you what kind f people they are.

They suffer from boredom 24x7 and they want adrenalin shots every few hours to keep there worthless bodies running. They can not take any movie that has no killing involved, some of them are fans of Kill Bill and Godfather kind of movies (I am not saying that Godfather is bad, I am just saying that these people love only that kind.)

No you are missing nothing. As the percentage indicates over 70%, hence 7.3..........get it!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you know that getting a vote of over 6% in IMDB is EXTREMELY difficult, hence SHOLAY is considered as the BEST International Film made in the history of Indian Cinema.

As i remember a few years back sholay was the only entry in imdb top 250, i dont understand how it has come down to 6.5.
