Was there ever a remake made in another language or country ????

Sholay is a copied from "wild bunch" and "magnificent seven". (I mean a rip off without any copyrights or credits like always does) This movie will never be recognized or appreciated outside india because it's not orignal.

@shangar87, can you explain how following movies get appreciated in a classic double standard?

1) "The departed" by Martin Scorscese is near scene by scene copy of korean film called "Infernal affairs" and still it won best picture oscar and is in top 250

2) Ironically Sergio Leonne's "Fistful of Dollars" is copy from Akira Kurosawa's "Yojimbo" still it was in top 250 for quite some time

1. Karma by Subhash Ghai
2. Army featuring Sridevi
3. China Gate by RajKumar Santoshi
4. RGV ki Aag
