Here's my list of Best Hindi Films of all time. All of you come up with your own. Lets see, how different the choices are...

My list

1. Mughal-e-Azam
2. Sholay
3. Kagaz Ke Phool
4. Do Beegha Zameen
5. Mother India
6. Lagaan
7. Do Aankhein Bara Haath
8. Deewar
9. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge
10.Devdas (1952)

Names Almost made it : Jane Bhi Do Yaaron, Rang De Basanti, Pyaasa, Black

In my opinion Sholay is the best Hindi film ever made, followed by Deewar. The films which I think should have been in the list too are:

1. Shatranj ke Khiladi
2. Garam Hawa
3. Ganga Jamuna
4. Dil Chahta Hai
5. Jaagte Raho
6. Shri 420
7. Guide
8. Jewel Thief
9. Angoor
10. GolMaal
11. Amar Akbar Anthony
12. Chupke Chupke
13. Anand
14. Bandini
15. Black
16. Prem Rog (arguably)
17. Mera Gaon Mera Desh (one of Dharmendra's best)

Dilwale Dulhania for me
