I just picked up my official copy of That's the Way of the World, and although the case and slip cover say it's 1:85.1 Anamorphic Widescreen, it's actually FULL SCREEN!!! I threw it in 2 different DVD players and it's definetly a FULL SCREEN DVD!
Any comments? What's your copy? W I D E or FULL?
The aspect ratio of this movie is 1:85 A.W. indeed. A Fullscreen aspect ratio is 1:33, if your TV monitor is the 4/6 (Old models) there should be a thin black bars on the top & bottom of your TV screen. Don't expect two big black bars on your screen (These are newer movies with an aspect ratio of 2.85:1). If you have the newer widescreen TV you shouldn't have a problem except for a black bar on each side of the screen. Otherwise check the owners manual of your DVD player. Most DVd players has a certain feature were you could tailor the aspect ratio of the movie you're watching to the aspect ratio of your TV. Give it a shot.
