Good news for many of you posting here. This movie will not only be
released on DVD this year, but it has been remastered in HI-DEF with
the audio remastered into 5.1 . Also, members of Earth Wind and Fire
are doing the commentary. Keep on the look out for it soon!
Yeah, I just bought a copy for fifteen bucks at my local Target. I'm really looking forward to listening to the commentary. I'm so happy that this excellent and unjustly overlooked gritty rock drama gem has been finally issued on DVD.

I bought it at Target too for about the same price i think. Im so glad i finally have this movie. Great music/nostalgic entertainment.
shareLOVE your 'signature', Woody. I miss Oates. Kinky Friedman makes me think about him more. Didn't Oates deliver the line "Why the Hell not?" when Pike opened the door & said "It's time!" when the Gorch brothers were w/the hookers, just before the showdown @ the end of The Wild Bunch?
