OST

I loved the music featured. The LP soundtrack is difficult to acquire. It would be great if it gets a CD release like COFFY and FRIDAY FOSTER.

I would certainly buy that! The blaxploitation genre had excellent soundtracks -- often better than the films themselves. Sadly, many of the songs are long out of print, if they were ever available to begin with.

I'd also love to see this reissued on CD. In the meantime I'll just have to keep an eye out for an LP copy on eBay.

The songs were too literal... like after the father gets killed by those thugs the singers go "he was a good man, a good man.... But now he's dead and gone, his life his daughter will morn, stabbed in the back by a guy with a giant afro, why oh why did that man had to go! he was a good man..."

Not exact lyrics but you catch my drift

Death to mainstream cinema!
