Why was Felicia so mad? I mean she was cheating too!

I mean if he was cheating on here and her not vice versa than it would be one thing but she wasnt. She is doing the same thing. How does she have the right to say this marriage is going to cost you when she is cheating too.

I know! I thought the same thing.

These go to 11.

It's just the separation from reality that often comes with a cheating spouse. She's oblivious to how wrong her own behavior is, and is in denial. Plus let's face it back then the money-maker paid up no matter what the cause of the divoce was...and that was Lester.

Back then? It's different now?

reply

Well yeah, that's very true I should really just leave out the "back then" part.

I think what mostly pissed her off was the fact that both her lover and her husband were after the same woman...she noticed that she lost all she had

For that matter, what right did Jill have to get so mad with George when she and her date, who she was about to go home with, stumbled on him banging Jackie at the party?

I guess that's just one of the themes of this film, all the hypocrisy of heartbreak amid everyone's rampant promiscuity.
